Ten artists and collectives from around New Zealand will present their work at If you were to live here …, the free three-month festival of contemporary art that will be the largest Auckland Triennial to date.
Curated by Hou Hanru, one of the most influential curators in the world today, the Triennial will see local and international artists transforming Auckland spaces. The Triennial invites discussion, the exchange of ideas and creates opportunities to collaborate and connect with different partners and communities in and out of the city.
New Zealand artists in the 5th Auckland Triennial:
Maddie Leach, Janet Lilo, Local Time, Hemi Macgregor, Tahi Moore, Ngataiharuru Taepa, Saffronn Te Ratana, Peter Robinson, Luke Willis Thompson, Wayne Youle.
